The RBDO (Regulatory Board of the Designation of Origin): The Regulatory Board’s main mission is to apply and ensure compliance with the precepts of the Rules. To this end, it shall fulfil the duties and responsibilities assigned to it in both the current legislation and the Rules themselves.

It is made up by:

• Chairman: Emilio Ostolaza Manterola
• Deputy Chairman: Ignacio Amestoy Aranguren
• 2 voting members from the vine growing industry
• 2 voting members from the wine making industry
• 1 representative from the Basque Government
• 1 representative from the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council
• Secretary: Ruth Mozo Avellaned
